Automation, timers and electrical parts

Controllers, actuators, timers and relays matched to the system on your equipment pad. A tech confirms the fault first.

Before you order: rule out the simple stuff

  • Is the system in service or timeout mode?
  • Did a power outage reset the clock or schedule?

Still not sure? Show a pool tech on a short video call before you buy, so you only order the part you need.

Automation, timers and electrical parts we source

Automation boards & control panels

Main boards, indoor and outdoor control panels and Wi-Fi modules, matched to your system.

Common sign: A tech has confirmed the controller is at fault.

Valve actuators

Actuators for pool/spa, solar and feature valves, matched to your controller.

Common sign: Valve won't turn on command, or pool/spa won't switch.

Timers & timer mechanisms

Mechanical and digital timers, timer mechanisms and trippers.

Common sign: Equipment won't come on at the set time, or the clock has stopped.

Relays, transformers & power supplies

Relays, transformers and power supplies for many control systems (installed by a licensed electrician).

Common sign: A relay clicks but nothing runs, or the controller is dead or rebooting.

Remotes, wireless & Wi-Fi modules

Wireless remotes, spa-side remotes and Wi-Fi or app modules.

Common sign: Remote or app won't connect, or a spa-side remote stopped working.

What to send us

A photo of the controller's label and screen, the label on the actuator or light, and what it's doing.

Where to find the model and part numbers

  • Pumps have a label on the motor with model, horsepower, voltage and amps. Variable-speed pumps also have a label on the drive.
  • Heaters have a rating plate, usually inside the access panel or on the side, with model and serial numbers.
  • Salt cells and chlorinators have a label on the cell and on the control box.
  • Turn the pump off and switch off the breaker before you remove any panel to read a label.

Common questions

Can I replace a valve actuator myself?

Many actuators bolt onto the valve and plug into the controller, but they're wired to line-voltage equipment. If you're not comfortable, have a pool tech do it. Power off first either way.

Can I replace a pool timer myself?

A timer mechanism or trippers can be simple, but timers switch line voltage. Turn the breaker off first, and have a licensed electrician do any wiring.

Can I return an automation board?

Boards are electrical parts, and electrical parts and special orders can't be returned once ordered. A tech confirms the fault with you before you pay.
